I lived in Juneau for the summer of 2025. I discovered Wild Oven Bakehouse at the IGA and later at the Rainbow. It is very good bread. I like good bread and frequent good bakeries when I see them. I was very happy to have access to such nice bread that summer. Sometimes places ran out. You had to get it early before that happened.
Fabulous croissants
The bread is delicious! Comes in fresh on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to superbear and foodland. Love the Focacia that has potato in it, super moist!
The best bread anywhere in Juneau! It is delicious, free from preservatives and seed oils, dough conditioners, and all the other poison in other bread. It is somehow rigid without being dense, which means it holds up amazing for pre-made sandwiches. It is somehow moist without being wet (unlike Dave's Killer Bread which is doughy). Absolutely the best bread I have had in years.
I'm so happy Wild Oven has a store front now! We always enjoyed their bread and now we go every Saturday for a bakes treat!
A great bakery in Juneau with the best selection of baked goods that you can order online ahead of time and pick it up on a specific day. The breads are delicious and the treats are wonderful. Well worth it!
